STELLAN Branding & Design
Murphy Empire partnered with STELLAN, a boutique home wares and decor retail shop in Portland, Maine, to create a cohesive brand identity that reflects sophistication, craftsmanship, and modern refinement. The project included the development of a full visual system, website design, and interior and exterior signage. The goal was to unify every brand touchpoint under a consistent, elegant aesthetic that feels timeless and rooted in quality.

Brand Identity & Creative Direction
Our branding and creative direction focused on clarity, proportion, and restraint. The new identity balances minimalism with warmth, creating a visual language that feels intentional and enduring. Every element—from typography and layout to pattern and texture—was designed to communicate STELLAN’s aesthetic values and distinctive point of view.
Logo Design & Visual Language
The logo is built on refined geometry and subtle form, giving the brand a quiet confidence. Supporting neutral earthy and value-based colors, type, and graphic accents were developed to extend the visual identity across print, packaging, signage, and digital environments. The result is a system that feels both elevated and approachable, adaptable for future growth.
Website Design
The website, with full SEO/AI search applied, was designed to translate STELLAN’s brand into an interactive experience that reflects the same sense of balance and craft. Clean layouts, deliberate use of space, and cohesive typography work together to create a seamless digital presence that mirrors the physical environment of the brand.
Signage & Application
We designed both interior and exterior signage to complement the brand’s visual system and spatial design. Materials, scale, and placement were carefully considered to align with architectural details and reinforce STELLAN’s identity in both retail and environmental contexts.
