Murphy Empire partnered with True Herbal CBD, a Maine-based maker and retailer of premium CBD products, to develop a full brand identity system and complete packaging suite. The design concept emphasizes a tea-stained organic aesthetic, hand-lettered typography, and natural textures — communicating artisanal craft, authenticity, and wellness rooted in Maine’s spirit.

Brand Identity & Creative Direction
Our creative direction focused on creating a visual system that feels handmade, organic, and grounded. We developed a visual identity system rooted in texture, hand-drawn elements, and a restrained color palette inspired by herb-teas and farm-crafted wellness. Every design detail — from label grain to typographic rhythm — reinforces the brand’s commitment to integrity and clarity.
Logo Design & Visual Language
We crafted a custom word-mark with hand-lettered typography and complementary mark variations, bringing character and human scale to the brand. Supporting visual language includes subtle botanical illustration, “tea-stain” textures, and a print-ready layout system that carries consistently across packaging, retail touchpoints, and web media.
Packaging & Product Suite
We translated the identity into a robust packaging system covering tinctures, topicals, balms, and lotions. The design uses material choices, label finishes, and layout logic to reflect premium positioning while maintaining a warm, approachable feel. The cohesive suite ensures the True Herbal CBD brand stands out clearly on shelf and in digital presentation.
