PortShare Promise Branding & Design
Murphy Empire worked with the City of Portland, Maine on PortShare Promise (PSP Portland), a Tourism Best Management Practices national pilot program campaign, to develop a comprehensive brand identity and a fully interactive website, paired with print collateral that speaks to their mission of community empowerment. Our goal was to create a visual system that feels authentic, inclusive, and built to support their narrative across digital and physical touchpoints.

Brand Identity & Creative Direction
Our approach started with deep understanding of PSP’s mission and audience. We designed a visual identity system that combines clarity, warmth, and structure. Each element—from typography to color to graphic accents—was calibrated to communicate accessibility, trust, and community focus.
Logo Design & Visual Language
The logo design merges symbol and typography in a bold yet inviting manner. Supporting visual language—icons, logotype, color palette—extends across all mediums, reinforcing brand coherence while giving room for flexible interpretation across campaigns and materials.
Website & Digital Experience
We built a responsive, interaction-first website with full SEO/AI search applied that aligns with PSP’s identity. The site emphasizes narrative, accessibility, and ease of use—making it simple for users to engage, explore, and take action. Layout, typography, and imagery all reflect the brand’s values and mission-driven focus.
Print Collateral & Application
We translated the identity into print assets including brochures, outreach materials, and program guides. Each collateral piece—carefully balanced in layout, material choice, and hierarchy—reinforces PSP’s message and ensures consistency between off- and online presence.
