Murphy Empire partnered with Red Fox Bar & Grille, a beloved wood-fired family restaurant in Jackson, New Hampshire, known for its rustic charm and enduring local legacy. We developed a completely handmade brand identity system — including a custom hand-drawn logo, marks, and typographic language — that evokes the nostalgia and warmth of traditional colonial pubs and eateries. The identity captures the restaurant’s welcoming atmosphere and history while refining its presence across modern media.

Brand Identity & Creative Direction
Our creative direction centered on authenticity, familiarity, and craft. The visual identity system celebrates Red Fox’s wood-fired heritage and family-gathering spirit, combining natural textures, traditional lettering, and timeless composition. Every element — from illustration to tone — was designed to feel genuine, inviting, and rooted in place.
Logo Design & Visual Language
We created a hand-drawn logo and supporting marks that reflect the character of old-world tavern signage — a nod to colonial woodcut craftsmanship. The supporting visual language includes custom typography, engraved-style linework, and a color palette inspired by hearth tones and New England wood interiors. Together, they convey a brand presence that’s rustic, enduring, and heartfelt.
Print, Web, Signage & Marketing Applications
We extended the identity across all brand visuals, including signage, menus, print collateral, and digital marketing. For the web and social platforms, we established a cohesive tone and visual rhythm that mirrors the restaurant’s atmosphere — family-friendly, time-honored, and rich with personality.
